David E. Goss CPA/CFF, CIA, CFE, is President of North American Forensic Accounting and has more than 39 years of experience in auditing and accounting. Dave was previously a partner at ParenteBeard, LLC, where he was responsible for overseeing and executing fraud investigation, forensic accounting, closely held and intangible asset valuations and litigation support.
He has performed fraud and forensic investigations for small, medium and large companies throughout North America, Canada and Australia. Dave’s experience includes cases involving blackmail, embezzlement and elder fraud. In addition to being a Certified Public Accountant, Dave is Certified in Financial Forensics and is a Certified Internal Auditor and Certified Fraud Examiner. He has spoken to diverse audiences on a wide range of topics including fraud detection and prevention, exposing fraud and measuring loss, and elder fraud.
Dave is co-author of the article “Are You A Target For Employee Fraud?” that appeared in the March 2010 edition of BUSINESS 2 BUSINESS magazine.
