Abramson Senior Care currently has a full-time opportunity for a Staff Accountant to work in the Finance & Accounting department.  Our award-winning facility is located on the beautiful 72-acre campus of The Abramson Center in North Wales, PA, with easy access to PA Route 309, 611 and the PA Turnpike. 

The Staff Accountant is a self-starter with excellent account reconciliation skills and strong analytical skills, who works well independently and as part of the Finance team.  The Staff Accountant assists in the month end close process, including the preparation and processing of standard monthly journal entries such as prepaid expenses, accrued expenses, allocated charges, and net assets released. This position is also responsible for assisting with cash forecasting and the preparation of cost reports, surveys and the budgets.

The Staff Accountant will report directly to the Controller and participate in department activities as necessary. This position will represent the department and employee perspective as a member of the inter-disciplinary team and through Center committees and projects.

Experience, Education, and Licensure

Preferred Experience: 3 years of Accounting experience in Healthcare or CCRC

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

Specialized Knowledge/Skills:  Must possess technical and professional accounting skills; good oral and written communication skills; proficiency with computers and advanced experience in MS Excel. Experience with GP Dynamics and BI360 a plus.
